Lutheranism, which is a combination of Liberal and Conservative Christianity, branched from Christianity in the 1,500s CE in favour of the Protestant Reformation theology of international German reformer Martin Luther, who advocated a doctrine of justifcation based entirely on faith and Jesus Christ.
