Glossary - Suicide bomber community

The suicide bomber community is comprised of members who intend to kill themselves with bombs and other similar explosive devices, often in densely populated places, so as to kill and injure others at the same time.  Since many members of these communities don't live very long, recruitment of new members is heavily practiced and emphasized.

Suicide bombing is often done under the guise of religion, and is intended to intimidate the general public.  Unfortunately the result is destructive, and instead of intimidating people it tends to portray the religion behind it in a very negative light in a manner that doesn't advance its international status.
