Glossary - Nihilism

Nihilism is the contention that reality, and all aspects of it including past and present human existence, is absent of objective meaning, purpose, comprehensible truth, or essential values.  Two particular areas of emphasis of nihilism are the impossibility of "natural morality," and the anti-theistic view that there is no proof that a divine creator or master deity exists.
