Glossary - Igtheist

An igtheist is "an individual who holds the position that theistic language makes no sense, and therefore what theists are talking about with respect to deities cannot be understood."  The "ig-" prefix denotes ignorance, and since a "theist" is one who believes in one or more deities, an "igtheist" is one who is essentially ignorant of theistic beliefs (an igtheist who is ignorant of all beliefs in deities would not be believing in deities, and would therefore also be an atheist as a matter of consequence).
