Glossary - Humanitarian

A humanitarian espouses the value of human solidarity by way of the ethical practice of kindness, benevolence, and sympathy, and does so impartially to all human beings.

Humanitarianism makes no distinction amidst suffering or abuse on grounds of nationality, sex, sexual preferences, association with a group, caste, or tribe, current age, or other personal lifestyle preferences.
