Glossary - Falsifiable Falsifiability (a.k.a., refutability) is the logical possibility that an assertion can be demonstrated as incorrect by way of a specific observation or physical experiment. Identifying a statement as "falsifiable" does not mean it is false; rather, it means that its falsehood can be confirmed by observation or with a physical experiment.
