Eckankar (a word that means "co-worker with god") is a contemporary monotheistic religion that was founded by Paul Twitchell in 1965 CE, and emphasizes the "golden teachings" of Light and Sound, and teaches the concept of Soul Travel.  Its founder claimed that Eckankar was dictated to him by the ECK Master Fubbi Quantz, and that Eckankar was originally introduced by ECK Master Gakko who traveled from the planet Venus roughly 6 million years ago.
