Glossary - All balls

"All balls" originated with NASA to represent midnight as 00:00:00 because the zeros look like balls; and it's easier, more efficient, and more convenient to say "all balls" than it is to repeat the word "zero" multiple times.

Some people (outside of NASA) who occasionally use this term include military personnel, police and security guards, nurses and doctors and paramedics, CB radio operators, some skeptics, and some computer programmers.  The PostgreSQL database engine also supports "allballs" as a valid time, that is demonstrable in the command:  SELECT 'allballs'::TIME; -- which produces the time 00:00:00.
